Now in our 14th year, the Hillbarn Conservatory SummerStage is a fun and frenetic summer day camp, offering multiple programs for kids ages 4-18. Our campers work with professional Directors, Choreographers, Music Directors, and Acting and Vocal Coaches who have years of experience motivating and guiding young performers.
And every camper gets a chance to perform on the Hillbarn Mainstage because every camp ends with a fantastic show!
This summer we have some wonderful surprises in store: visits from Broadway professionals, field trips, and a special video shoot! You won’t want to miss out!

STAR TOTS (4-6)
A wonderful introduction to the world of theatre for the imaginative child! In this week-long camp, our little actors will work together with the staff to create their own show with music, movement and play acting. Camp will culminate in a final performance on the mainstage at Hillbarn. Our goal is to nurture and celebrate each child’s imagination and creativity!
Dates: July 15 – 19, 9 am – 1 pm, M – F

STAR SHINERS (6-8)
Looking for an outlet for your child who is always singing and dancing around the house? Our Star Shiners camps are geared for the child who loves to perform, and is ready for some training! Each day, students will learn theater basics by playing confidence-building theater games, doing improvisation, learning choreography, and working on their voices in song. The 2-week camp will culminate in a final performance on the main-stage at Hillbarn. With this camp, we will seek to ignite in each child a love of theater, while also introducing valuable life skills including: team work, public speaking and refined social and emotional skills.
Dates: Session 1 – June 17 – 28, Session 2 – July 22 – Aug. 2, Monday – Friday

RISING STARS (8-10) – REALLY ROSIE!
Our Rising Stars camp is designed for students ages 8-10 with an interest in theater. Each day, students will get basic instruction in acting, voice, dance as they prepare a short musical, REALLY ROSIE! All experience levels are welcomed. With this camp, we will seek to nurture each child’s love of theater and individual performance skills, while also instilling valuable life skills including: team work, public speaking and refined social and emotional skills.

SUPER STARS (10-13) – BEAUTY & THE BEAST JR.!
Our Super Stars camp is designed for students ages 10-13 with an interest in musical theatre and/or dance. Each day, students rotate through different courses in acting, voice, dance and rehearsals, culminating in a weekend of performances of the Broadway musical, BEAUTY & THE BEAST JR! All experience levels are welcomed. In addition to being a confidence builder, our camp teaches the various fundamentals of theater in a professional theater environment. Participants have fun learning about the wonderful world of theater, and making new friends!

TRIPLE THREATS (13-18) – THE WEDDING SINGER!
Our Triple Threat camp is designed for students ages 13-18 (graduating seniors may apply) with an interest in musical theatre and/or dance. Each day, students rotate through different courses in acting, voice, dance and rehearsals, culminating in a weekend of performances of the Broadway musical, THE WEDDING SINGER! Students should come prepared to work hard, be challenged, and have a great time doing it!
